Here's the update... MACMALL is shady. They ended up calling me the next day, offering me a $50 "credit" for my troubles, and then claimed the laptop was in stock again. After dealing with all of their BS, I told them to keep their $50 and I bought the MBP a few weeks later direct from Apple. I got a better price on a refurb i5 MBP, and didn't have to deal with these idiots. I'd do a review on my MBP, but there's tons out there. It's a sweet machine.

Hey Mike.. No updated on my end, I follow these basic rules for all of our Citrix VMs (my team also manages Citrix). Do you know what version of presentation server they are running? Is the web interface virtualized as well? What are they indicating is "slow"?

At my day job we are running all of our presentation servers, and 2 load balanced web servers completely on VM. We haven't had any issues at all with Citrix on VM, especially since we started using ESX 4.X when it was released. The main thing I suggest for Citrix VMs is to almost always use 1vCPU.

Steve,

Do you have any updates for this procedure or suggestions? Our Citrix administrators complain about Citrix being virtualized...etc.

I just don't want them to say "we can't virtualize Citrix because it is slow, bad...etc"

Thanks!

This issue has been fixed. There is a hotfix available for EMC Virtual Storage Integrator (3.0.0 build 32) on Powerlink.

VSI 3.0.0.32 Hotfix is now posted in Powerlink at Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads T-Z > Virtual Storage Integrator (VSI).

This will not work on vCenter 4.1, however. An update should be out later this year.

Same issue happened to me with U2 version.
I have downloaded the latest version of EMC virtual Storage Integrator v3.0.0.31_hotfix.
My client and server is using build 258672.
Reinstall EMC VSI doesn't solve problem.
Any ideas?

I have been going crazy trying to get the Intel Pro/1000 GT quad port adapter recognized for esxi 4.0. I have tried everything but the quad port is not recognized. One possible issue is that i'm using a new dell 580 desktop.
