vCenter 4.0 Update 2 breaks EMC Virtual Storage Integrator
After upgrading to vCenter 4.0 Update 2, the EMC Virtual Storage Integrator plugin is not working. Upon launching vCenter, I received several errors:
“Method not found: ‘VMware.CustomControls.LabelEx VpxVlient.Common.Util.Helper.AddLabel(System,Windows,Forms,Control, Int32, Int32, ……”
This same issue occured when upgrading to U1. A subsequent reinstall fixed it, but that does not appear to be working for U2. I have since disabled the plugin and need to check PowerLink to see if a new version of the Integrator is available.
Has anyone out there seen this or been able to fix it?

Same issue happened to me with U2 version.
I have downloaded the latest version of EMC virtual Storage Integrator v3.0.0.31_hotfix.
My client and server is using build 258672.
Reinstall EMC VSI doesn’t solve problem.
Any ideas?

This issue has been fixed. There is a hotfix available for EMC Virtual Storage Integrator (3.0.0 build 32) on Powerlink.
VSI 3.0.0.32 Hotfix is now posted in Powerlink at Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads T-Z > Virtual Storage Integrator (VSI).
This will not work on vCenter 4.1, however. An update should be out later this year.
